Our journey began with a boy, Lucas.
Lucas was born with unique differences that made the world feel confusing to him. Along his journey, Lucas and the family encountered many barriers and challenges. The mother wanted to create a space where we could celebrate his uniqueness and support him by embracing his strengths and values.
I am the mother, Christine.
I am the Clinical Director of Lucas Support and Care.
I invite you to join me on this meaningful journey.

Registered Psychologist and Advanced/Specialist Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

At Lucas Support and Care, you're supported by a warm and passionate team of professionals who are trained as Psychologists and/or Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Each team member brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and heart to their work.
We’re united by a shared commitment to person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming approaches that celebrate individual strengths and needs. Our team is here to walk alongside you, whether you're navigating challenges, building new skills, or simply seeking a safe and supportive space to grow.
All behaviours are always reasonable, rational and understandable. Rather than treating behaviours, we view them as valuable sources of information that provide insight into an individual's needs and wants, guiding us in how best to support them.
Autism and ADHD are not disorders, diseases, or impairments. They are neurodivergent differences that deserve recognition, respect and support. Our role is not to fix or treat them but to understand, embrace and empower individuals to thrive as they are.
We must shift our focus from ‘problems’ to ‘strengths’ that each individual possesses. Every person has inherent value and our role is to support them by fostering self-esteem and building confidence.
You are beautiful just as you are,
exactly as you are meant to be
